Il progetto nasce dal desiderio di documentare lo stato di fatto, di dare visibilità e nobilita’ agli scarti della manifattura tessile. Non vuol essere una denuncia, piuttosto un’istantanea del momento e trasmettere un’immagine positiva dei cosidetti SCARTI, spesso costituiti da materie prime preziose come lane, o tessuti nobili che in un’immagine fotografica riprendono vita, si trasformano in textures, colori, arte.

The project started  from the desire to document, to give visibility and nobility to the scraps from textile manufacturing. It is not meant to be a denunciation, rather a snapshot of the moment and to senda positive image of the so-called “SCARTI”,which are often made up of precious raw materials like wool, or others noble fabrics that come back to life in a photographic image, and they are transformed into textures, colors and art.
